I have been working in the mortgage and insurance industry for over 20 years, through banks, mortgage brokers and insurers. I joined Mortgage Advice Bureau 4 years ago as a Customer Relationship Manager, and I have responsibility of looking after new and existing customers. Even after 20 years, I still get a really strong sense of satisfaction working with customers, lenders, Housing Associations and solicitors. I enjoy helping customers from their initial application, to getting their mortgage offer issued, to eventually picking up the keys and moving into their new home. I am passionate about ensuring that we are there to support clients during what can often be a tense but exciting time. Using my experience to help guide and reassure, during what is an unfamiliar and stressful process. My greatest sense of achievement is from customers that return year after year to trust us to look after their mortgage needs. I strongly believe that it is by offering a high level of support and service that leads people to seek us out. When I am not working, I am a Mum to two teenagers – they keep me on my toes!! I enjoy socialising with friends and family most weekends. To keep my sanity, I have an allotment which allows me to escape and have some time to myself and appreciate the simple things in life. If only mortgages were that simple! 😊
